Building Mental Fortitude

I believe everyone endures the same kind of hardships, some people are simply just weaker. Example: They make their troubles seem as weighty as the person who just got told they have cancer. While they’re worried about being late to work. They both may not be ideal, but one is clearly worst, yet when your in either situations you believe the world is out to get you. Honestly speaking this could possibly be you, I’ve even caught myself out several times. But you need to remember this doesn’t have to be your way of living.

I like these quotes, “You have to train your mind to become stronger than your feelings, or else you lose yourself” and “Confidence isn’t thinking you’re better than everyone else. It’s realising you have no reason to compare yourself to anyone else.” Memorise these quotes, read them daily if need be.

Building your next step mentally, “Ok I made a mistake I didn’t wake up the time I wanted to wake up, I didn’t the next day.”  What is the next right step I can take in this moment right now. That’s it that’s all  you gotta focus on and then you take that step, then after you take that step, you ask that exact question. What is the next right step to take in this moment. And before you know it you’ve taken 5, 6, 7, 8, right steps, and now your back on track. But if you sit and salt in that mistake that you made and you let that trickle over into the rest of your day. All your doing is stopping yourself from taking the next right step. From being able to learn from it, reflect on it and then grow from it. That is what growth is about. You Mess up, you make a mistake, you have the awareness to see it, you sit with it, you learn from it, and then you grow from it.
